What to write in the “About” Section of a website?

It needs a bit about the singing bards because about the writing bards, that would be too much – there are too many.  Look to your right, there is a list of the singing bards if you want to learn more about the singing bards of Fanciful Fandom, the Xena Audio Fanfiction membership site.

And of course it’s a good idea to explain Free Members and Full Members. And not to forget Affiliates. So that’s also info you’ll find on the right hand side.

So far we have Xena fanfiction in English here. Eventually I am going to add Xena Fanfiction in German. And my dream is to add more fandoms.

About Fanciful Fandom

Fanciful Fandom brings Xena fan fiction to the ears of fans.

We at Fanciful Fandom are fan(atics) who are recording fan fiction we like and members of this site can listen to them online or download them on their iPod or mp3 player and listen

• while going to work (hopefully not when driving a car),
• when taking a train or bus,
• when going for a walk,
• when working in your garden and plucking weeds mindlessly,
• or while taking a hot and relaxing bath.
• I’m sure you can come with other ideas.

Most of the Audios are not free even though there might be other free fanfiction podcasts out there. As you can imagine it takes time to find a good story that’s suitable to read. We have to read and practice and then record them. All of that takes time. Yet, there is a free membership though of course very limited. And we are trying to make it really good quality. We will improve with time and practice.

Just like a musician needs to earn money from their work. So do we.

I’m sure you don’t mind paying those $1.50 for 3-4 minutes for a good song. Then you also don’t mind paying a small amount for way more than 5 minute entertainment that takes you away from your stressful job to a land in turmoil … adventures … kings … and a certain warrior princess and her bard.

Besides everybody is getting their share: The owner of the website (of course!), the singing bard and the writing bard (unless they are “lost”, their share will be donated).
